Project planning ideally commences well before the shutdown/outage commences. It is essential at this stage that responsibilities for provision of the various resources required by the project are clearly understood and documented, between PPI and the client. Any constraints on the project execution arising from, for example, other contractors on site or the owner’s own activities, must also be input to the planning process at this stage.

We prepare and monitor work schedules using Microsoft Project, and provide these to the client in regular updates. Draft schedules are generally provided to clients for review early stage before each project commences. Schedules are updated as the project unfolds to reflect any changes to critical path activities.
